Specialty:

Cardiovascular Disease

Practice Philosophy:

The goal of my cardiovascular practice is to prevent disease whenever possible and to treat all aspects of cardiovascular disease once it has manifested. This is done with respect for and with the help of other health professionals with the same goals.

Areas of Focus:

I focus on all aspects of cardiovascular disease. This includes prevention, screening, testing, and treatment. My practice evaluates and treats all forms of cardiac and vascular disease including PAD and venous insufficiency. Treatments range from education to medicines to fully invasive procedures when indicated.

General Comments:

My goal is the optimization of cardiovascular health in conjunction with care for the total patient. I have had a lifelong interest in nutrition and general well-being. Nutrition was a major focus in both undergraduate work and in medical school. I am board certified in nutrition. In addition, I maintain board certification in Internal Medicine in an effort to treat the whole patient and not just one isolated organ system. I am uniquely interested and qualified to treat not only end-stage cardiac disease, but also to reach patients before they get to that point. My current effort, and the goal of New England Integrative Health Associates, is to intervene early in patients’ lives to prevent or slow the progression of the disease process
