Specialty:
Cardiology, Adult Primary Care
Philosophy:
I am committed to the well-being of the whole person. I take the time to listen to the patient so we can personalize care and develop a treatment plan that is all encompassing and conducive to that person’s lifestyle and belief systems. I have a passion to create a partnership with each patient where we can share knowledge and improve awareness of disease processes in order to improve personal health, happiness and safety.
Profile:
I started in nursing working in a cardiology office as an LPN. I continued to expand my knowledge of cardiology through working at Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory. After attaining my RN, I worked on multiple cardiac floors which led me to the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit where I worked for over ten years. The exposure to the adverse effects of heart disease inspired me to continue my education to complete my APRN degree. My desire is to intervene early in patients’ lives in order to mitigate the effects of heart disease.
